HOLY HABITS
Part 2: A Life Given to Worship
This week, Waldo reminded us that we are the temple of God — a people created to inhabit the praises of the Lord.
Drawing from First Peter 2, we were encouraged to behold Christ and be transformed by Him as “living stones” being built together into a spiritual house. And through Romans 12, we were reminded that true worship is offering our whole lives to God as a living sacrifice — holy and acceptable to Him.
But this is not something we strive toward in our own strength. It is only by the blood of Jesus that we are able to draw near, worship freely, and stand secure in Him.
No matter what reality we may be facing, because of Jesus our identity remains rooted in Christ and not in our circumstances. He is worthy of our worship in every season.
We are a temple that must inhabit the praises of God.
Take some time this week to listen, reflect, and allow the Lord to draw your heart back to worship through His Word.
