Part 2: When Conviction Is Tested
This week, Rob continued our Convictions — Persuaded by the Truth series by taking us into the reality that conviction is not only formed in the moments when we are confident and comfortable — it is tested in the moments when following Jesus costs us something.
What do we do when our convictions are challenged? When circumstances are difficult, when obedience is costly, or when the truth we believe is put under pressure?
Conviction is more than simply knowing what we believe. It is being persuaded by the truth of God’s Word to the point where it shapes how we live, even when it is difficult.
Rob challenged us to consider what we are truly convinced of, where our convictions come from, and whether we are willing to stand firm when those convictions are tested.
Listen now and be encouraged and challenged to hold firmly to the truth, trusting God even when faithfulness is costly.
Convictions are tested in the fire. May we be a people who stand firm, persuaded by the truth.
