We are not slaves living under fear. We are children who have been adopted into the family of God.
Through the Spirit, we are able to know God not simply as Creator, but as our Father. The Spirit confirms our identity, leads us away from the old life, and assures us that we belong to Him.
And as children, we are not only given a new identity—we are invited into a new way of living, with the promise that we are heirs with Christ.
